Episode 62: Journaling for clarity

In this podcast episode, I talk about journaling for clarity - or journaling to figure out what you want or what you think about something.

I discuss the common mistake I see people make + I mention 16 questions that you can use to inspire your journaling. Here they are!

  1. What am I afraid of about this issue?

  2. What am I resisting about this issue?

  3. What do I long for about this?

  4. What do I feel called to do or be?

  5. What is my absolute dream life?

  6. What would I never want my partner / friends / teammates to know about me, with respect to this issue?

  7. What (secretly) annoys me, with respect to this issue?

  8. What would happen if I did _____? How do I feel about that?

  9. Who am I jealous of, and what do I envy about their life, with respect to this issue?

  10. If no one would care either way, what would I choose?

  11. What am I avoiding admitting to myself?

  12. If the finances would be ok no matter what I did, how might I act differently?

  13. What issues feel tricky for me to understand how I feel?

  14. What scares me about this?

I also share my own history with journaling for clarity + why I find it so valuable.

If you think you don’t like journaling, I hope the specifics of this episode help you try it again. Because while journaling isn’t for everyone, you might actually end up loving it.
