I've posted a fair amount on this blog about how to know when it's time to eat (hint: make sure you're hungry), but I haven't written to you much about its opposite: When To Stop Eating.
So today, and for the next two weeks, I want to go back to "Intuitive + Luscious Eating 101" and really go deep.
For many of us who struggle with our eating, it's a common complaint:
I just seem to eat too much!
But do you stop yourself from overeating?
Well, you could limit your portion sizes.
You could try to count calories, or points.
Or you could not try anything at all, but just have an overly-full belly, a numb heart, and a feeling of frustration in the back of your head.
But if that's not working for you - if you still find yourself overeating, or you find yourself always feeling deprived at what you're allowing yourself to eat (because you're afraid of over-eating), I think you'll like this video:
