The one-on-one experience is the absolute best support I can offer you.

We'll work together in weekly, 45-minute sessions, and we'll also keep in touch via email if you have anything specific that you need help with.

 The Luscious + Intuitive Eating One-on-One Experience could be a fantastic fit if you:

  • Have been struggling with food and eating for a long, long time. More than anything, you are exhausted and annoyed by how long this has gone on. 
  • Are tired of quick-fix solutions to your food and eating problems. You're willing to do the work and really go deep to make lasting changes in how you deal with eating and relate to your body and your life.
  • Are ready for a solution that will last and work for all parts of your life. You want a solution that works for days when you want to eat kale, as well as for the Christmas party when you are surrounded by sugar cookies.
  • Are a thoughtful, hard-working, sensitive person. You tend to be "on top of" most things in your life, but this food/eating thing is the one part that just not going quite right. You deserve solid support to help to deal with it. 
  • Want to work with someone who is warm and supportive, but also analytical and solution-oriented. My top goal is to create a space where you feel safe and supported. But I don't care about feelings if we can't also get you really amazing results that you will love.
  • Know that it takes a while to make significant, lasting changes. We'll work together over the course of several weeks - change doesn't happen overnight, but my clients always tell me how delighted and amazed they are by how significant their changes are.

What will we work on together?

The material we go over in our work together will vary depending on your needs, but it typically includes at least some the following:

  • How to eat when you’re hungry + why it doesn’t make sense to eat when you’re not hungry
  • How to stop eating when you’re full
  • How to deal with the negative voice in your head that is freaking out at the thought of not being on a strict diet, and how to access your inner wisdom to discover how to choose what to eat
  • How to select foods that appeal to what your body wants, what your mouth wants, what your deepest self wants – and why!
  • How to connect with your body so that you can more deeply understand hungry, fullness, and emotions
  • How do deal with social eating
  • How to be truly present when you eat
  • How to deal with binges, over-eating, and what do to when you want to eat or find yourself eating when you’re not hungry
  • How to feel be aware of the elements of your life that are driving you to eat when you’re not hungry. For so many of my clients and certainly for me, we often don’t realize that when we are eating when we’re not hungry, there are other elements of our lives driving us to do so. We’ll explore what’s going on for you.

What will be the results for me?

Here's what I dream + know is possible for you:

  • You eat with gusto at every meal – choosing foods that appeal to you most, whether that be death by chocolate cake or a kale salad with lemon vinaigrette or gooey pizza
  •  You eat with trust and confidence that you will use food to take care of yourself, and that you won't overeat (or starve yourself!)
  • You no longer feel afraid to keep certain foods in your house or be near “fatty” foods – you know that you will eat them if you are hungry, but you don’t worry about binges
  • Binges subside, as you learn how to treat yourself with kindness and understanding during a binge
  • You discover how to deal with eating at parties, with family, at work, and at social occasions in a way that makes you feel good and taken care of, without feeling at all deprived
  • You find the courage to face all of the feelings that lie beneath your eating and begin to mold your life to be the one you aspire to

I know what it's like to feel embarrassed when you see your body in pictures. Is that really me?

I know what it's like to eat a jar of Nutella with your fingertips while sitting on the floor and suddenly realize you've eaten half the jar. 

I spent most of my life as somebody who had her life "together." I went to Princeton, was the president of clubs, and got a job at a prestigious management consulting firm where I advised Fortune 500 companies on business strategy. 

Except I still felt: out-of-control about food, like I couldn't maintain a healthy weight if I didn't exert and exhausting amount of willpower, and deprived all the time because I really, really wanted cake. 

After consulting experts, deeply examining my eating and my life, and making myself the guinea pig for practices that frankly terrified me, I radically changed my approach to eating and my life. 

These changes were, no exaggeration, one of the best things that has ever happened to me. And it's my mission to help others feel the same freedom and joy that I now feel around food


My life experiences give me a unique ability to help you:

I'm thoughtful, warm, and supportive. Dealing with these food issues requires a willingness to become aware of feelings and thoughts we often don't want to acknowledge. That's scary stuff, and I'm here to hold your hand if it becomes overwhelming. 

I'm analytical and action-oriented. Remember all that Princeton + management consulting stuff? I advised executives twice my age on how to enter new markets, launch products, increase their revenue, and cut costs. It turns out that I don't care that much about corporate strategy, but I care a great deal about getting you results you'll love. I don't care about abstract ideas about improving your relationship with food and eating - I care about giving you the tools you need to make serious changes.
